ǁXegwi, also known as Batwa, is an extinct ǃKwi language of South Africa, near the Swazi border. The last known speaker was killed in 1988.
ǁXegwi lost the abrupt clicks (variations on ǂ and ǃ) found in its relatives. However, it reacquired ǃ from Bantu, either Nguni or Sotho.
